Hi everyone. I just got off the phone with the gentleman I've been speaking with for what seems like almost a year now regarding bringing LOGO (MTV's GLBT channel) to the Cox digital lineup.
This update is the most promising I have heard to date.
"It's going to happen" I was told. They are in contractual agreement talks right now with MTV/LOGO. It's an issue of bandwidth and trying to balance the cost/bandwidth issue without raising cost of cable to the viewers. Serious negotiation has been going on for the past 2 months!
I was told the response has been "huge" and that the channel has been "highly requested".
So a special thank you to all of you who have worked so hard by calling, emailing, and sending letters to bring LOGO to RI. Well done!!!!
